La 11 ª Reunión del Comité Asesor Internacional (IAC), del 18 a 21 junio 2013 en Gwangju Metropolitan City, República de Corea.

La reunión del Comité Asesor Internacional del Programa Memoria del Mundo, que tiene dos personas de América Latina y el Caribe (Maria Victoria Borg O ‘Flaherty, de St. Kitts y Vitor Manoel Marques da Fonseca, de Brasil) ha discutido cuestiones sobre el fortalecimiento del programa y formuló recomendaciones al Director General de la UNESCO sobre las candidaturas presentadas.

El Director General ha aprobado la adhesión de 54 nuevos documentos al Registro Internacional de Memoria del Registro, siete de nuestra región:

1) Architectural Archive of Oscar Niemeyer – Brasil

2) Collections of printed Chilean popular poetry: Lira popular – Chile

3) Documentary Collection “Life and Works of Ernesto Che Guevara: from the originals manuscripts of its adolescence and youth to the campaign Diary in Bolivia” – Bolivia and Cuba

4) Documents regarding the Emperor D. Pedro II’s journeys in Brazil and abroad – Brasil

5) Old fonds of the historical archive at Colegio de Vizcaínas: women’s education and support in the history of the world – México

6) Peruvian and South American First Editions (1584-1619) – Perú

7) Travelling Registry of the Conquistadors or “Becerro Book” – Perú

The 11th Meeting of the International Advisory Committee (IAC), from 18 to 21 June 2013 in Gwangju Metropolitan City, Republic of Korea.

The meeting of the International Advisory Committee of the Memory of the World Program, which has  two people from Latin America and the Caribbean (Maria Victoria Borg O’ Flaherty , from St. Kitts, and Vitor Manoel Marques da Fonseca, from Brazil) discussed questions about the strengthening of the program and made recommendations to the Director-General of UNESCO about the nominations submitted.

The  Director-General has approved the adhesion of 54 new documents to the International  Memory of the World Register, seven from our region:

1) Architectural Archive of Oscar Niemeyer – Brazil

2) Collections of printed Chilean popular poetry: Lira popular – Chile
