Empieza el período para aplicaciones al registro como memoria del mundo del Comité Regional para América Latina y el Caribe del Programa Memoria del Mundo de UNESCO. Es importante notar que:
a – las aplicaciones deben ser hechas solamente en formato electrónico;
b- por lo menos dos fotos de los documentos deben ser enviadas con autorización para divulgación;
c- la significación regional (anexo II, 5.2) debe ser muy claramente afirmada;
d- “El Compañero del Registro de Memoria del Mundo”, disponible en “Publicaciones”, puede ser muy útil para rellenar las aplicaciones.
El Comité se reunirá para decisión final en octubre, en Lima, Perú.

Call for applications 2013 MOWLAC
The registration period for applications to the register as memory of the world of the Regional Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean of UNESCO’s Memory of the World Program starts now. It is important to observe that:
a – applications must be made only in electronic form;
b-at least two photos of the documents must be sent with authorization for being published;
c-regional significance (Attachment II, 5.2) should be very clearly stated;
d- the “Memory of the World Register Companion”, avaiable at “Publications”, can be very useful to fill the forms.
The Committee will meet for a final decision in October, in Lima, Peru.

En 22 de febrero de 2013, en el Ministerio de Culturas y Turismo, ha ocurrido la entrega de los certificados de inscripción en el registro de MOWLAC a las cuatro instituciones que integran esa nominación. La ceremonia, presidida por el Ministro de Culturas y Turismo, contó, además de muchos participantes, con la presencia del Viceministro de Interculturalidad, del Oficial Mayor de Cultura de La Paz, Beatriz Losa, que ha coordenado la proposición de esa documentación y del presidente de MOWLAC.

En los discursos han sido resaltados el carácter de fiesta y alegría que tiene esa documentación y el el esfuerzo en asociar colecciones de diferentes instituciones bolivianas, privadas, nacionales y municipales.
En el mismo día, Vitor Fonseca ministró un taller, con más de 25 interesados, sobre como presentar propuestas al Programa Memoria del Mundo.

On February 22, 2013, at the Ministerio de Culturas y Turismo, it was delivered to four Bolivian institutions the certificates of registration of their holdings in MOWLAC. The ceremony, presided by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, was also attended by many participants, with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Interculturalism, the Oficial Mayor de Cultura de La Paz, Beatriz Losa, who coordinated the proposition of that documentation, and the President of MOWLAC.
The speeches have highlighted the nature of celebration and joy that those records have and the efforts to associate different collections of Bolivian private, national and local institutions.
On the same day, Vitor Fonseca ministered a workshop, attended by more than 25 people, about the way of submitting proposals to the Memory of the World Program.

Roslyn Russell, miembro del Subcomité de Registro además de presidenta del Comité Consultivo Internacional del Programa Memoria del Mundo de UNESCO, ha creado un boletín que informa sobre sus actividades profesionales y que desea compartir con sus colegas. Roslyn es historiadora y además museógrafa, y por tanto tiene una mirada amplia y riquísima. Este es el primer numero de la publicación.
Roslyn Russell, a member of the Register Sub-committee and chair of the International Advisory Committee of UNESCO’s Memory of the World Program, has created a newsletter that reports on her professional activities and wants to share it with colleagues. Roslyn is a historian and also a museographer, and has a broad and rich experience. This is the first issue of the publication.
